Watches & Wonders

Tags: , , , , ,

Switzerland has been the cradle of the World's watchmaking industry since the Calvanist reforms of 1541 turned the country into a refuge for Protestant craftsmen from all over Europe. This long tradition created the foundations for the companies of Vacheron Constantin and Chopard to become the most prestigious jewellers and watchmakers in the World.

Indeed, Vacheron Constantin (http://www.vacheron-constantin.com) have an uninterrupted history of watchmaking going back to 1755, later becoming the suppliers of the watch mechanism to Peter Carl Fabergé for the third fabulous, bejewelled egg given by the Czar to his Empress to celebrate Easter in 1887.

The House of Chopard (http://www.chopard.com) also has an illustrious history. In 1860, at the age of 24, Louis-Ulysse Chopard created his L.U.C manufacturing company and, after many years of development in the jewellery and fashion industries, they become the designers and sponsors of the 'Palm d'Or' award given every year at the Cannes film festival.

Every year these companies take their place at the 'Watches & Wonders' Haute Horlogerie Exhibition in Hong Kong and this year we were delighted that Musical Fidelity have been approached to create and manufacture limited production runs of their outstanding MF-100 headphones as branded gifts to delegates. To get a flavour of this amazing event view http://youtu.be/-fGyWmZx9oE

Equinox Partners were requested to generate concept ideas for presentation to these illustrious companies, to finalise manufacturing artworks and create the bespoke packaging. Some of the concepts can be viewed on our website (http://bit.ly/1q3oqs7

Equinox Partners are proud to have been part of the team at Musical Fidelity, for over 25 years creating some of the UK's most outstanding hi-fi products. View all Musical Fidelity's current products at http://www.musicalfidelity.com/
