Bellavita Building Frontage
Bellavita Expo arrange and host global exhibitions to allow artisan Italian food producers to display and promote their wares around the world – London is their principal base, with shows in Amsterdam and Chicago joined by venues in Bangkok, Riga, Miami and Warsaw.
When Bellavita Expo moved to an old courier warehouse in London’s East End, the new offices needed a bit of ‘pizzaz’ to smarten them up.
Equinox Partners created the signage and exterior improvements to suit the building’s new role as telephone service centre, cooking school and, now, artisan Italian food shop.
Signage Installation
Turning a rather unedifying office and warehouse building – a former CitySprint courier depot – into a smart, pretentious office, shop and Italian cooking school in London’s Dock Street was an inspiring exercise.
Stainless steel lettering and the bright red, 2 metre ‘Raviolo’, were all internally halo lit with LED lighting to create signage that has great impact and visibility, even at night.
Assisted by Kevin Folkard at Prestige Signs, the signage was undertaken with planning permission handled and installation arranged over a weekend, ready for the staff to admire on their return on Monday morning.
